John is a Norman who is given a young Saxon bride by William the Conqueror. I was given the book and choose to give an honest review. I definitely want to read other books by this author. This is a quick read, but I feel that I will be thinking about it for some time. That also goes for the BDSM lifestyle I thought the two would be incompatible, but found that the author managed to intertwine both concepts into a wonderful book. I know only a little about this religion, but I learned a lot. Tzipporah's neighborhood and neighbors are described realistically. So Orthodox Judaism and BDSM? Yet this is a terrific story, beautifully written and extremely well researched.
